We work with individuals, businesses, and governments to reduce their environmental and social footprints and to create a more sustainable future. We believe that sustainability is a collective effort and that everyone has a part to play. We strive to create a world where people understand their impact, make conscious decisions, and take responsibility for their actions. At Usolec, our mission is to provide sustainability support and resources with no financial barriers, to guide societies worldwide in making sustainable choices, and to create a more sustainable future.

Climate Change

What is it?

Climate change is the long-term alteration of the average global climate due to the increased emission of greenhouse gases. This is causing global temperatures to rise, leading to an increase in the severity and frequency of extreme weather events such as floods, droughts, and heat waves. Climate change has the potential to cause widespread disruption to ecosystems, habitats, and human communities; it is, therefore, an urgent and pressing global issue. Taking action to reduce carbon emissions is critical in mitigating the effects of climate change. Even small actions can make a difference when everyone works together. It is better to take action now than to wait and face the consequences of inaction in the future.

Climate Change & Mental Well-Being

  • Building Climate Change Resilience
An accessible guide to understanding climate emotions and strengthening resilience.

  • Climate Change Resilience Process
A step-by-step framework for processing climate stress and supporting individual and community well-being.

These materials are offered for educational and community use and align with our commitment to holistic climate action—care for the planet and care for people, together.

Climate change doesn’t just affect our environment—it affects how we feel, think, and cope. Anxiety, grief, overwhelm, and burnout are increasingly common responses to climate disruption, especially among students, activists, artists, caregivers, and community leaders.

In partnership with resources from the Climate Mental Health Network, we are proud to share practical tools that support emotional resilience, collective care, and healthy responses to climate-related stress.

These resources are designed to help individuals and communities:

  • Understand common emotional responses to climate change

  • Build personal and collective resilience

  • Transform climate anxiety into grounded, values-driven action

  • Foster connection, care, and hope during uncertain times

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, seeking language for what you’re experiencing, or supporting others through climate-related stress, these tools are here to help.
